|Summary of covers offered by the Event Insurance Package
The package has been designed as a comprehensive Insurance programme for the Professional Event Organiser and Promoter. The package comprises a number of individual covers. Each Section can be taken separately and independently of each other or as a package, depending on the needs are of the individual Promoter
SECTION 1 A: CANCELLATION & ABANDONMENT.
Cancellation and Abandonment Insurance is the primary cover that all Organisers / Promoters should consider. This section covers against losses incurred due to other unforeseen cancellation, abandonment and or postponement of the event due to circumstances beyond the control of the Promoter. This includes all reimbursement of incurred and unrecoverable expenses that the Promoter has out laid and the Loss of Anticipated Net profit on the Event. This section includes Cancellation, Abandonment, Postponement of an indoor Event due to Adverse Weather, such as a Typhoon Signal 8.

SECTION 1B : NON APPEARANCE & NON PERFORMANCE.
Cover can also be extended to include Cancellation and Abandonment due to NON APPEARANCE & NON PERFORMANCE of the key act, star or lead actor / actress due to once again circumstances beyond the control of the Promoter, including Illness, Death, Accident, but excluding breach of contract, or due to illegal acts.
SECTION 1C : FAILURE TO VACATE.
This section covers any additional venue rental or Hire Costs charged by the Venue management due to the failure of the Promoter vacating the Venue at the contracted time. For example failure to vacate may be brought about due to a Typhoon which shuts down all transport operators.
SECTION 1D: ADDITIONAL AND EXTRA EXPENSES.
This section covers any additional or extra expenses incurred by the promoter in order to satisfactorily complete the Event. This may include the cost of Hiring replacement sound and lighting equipment due to the failure of the original Sound and Lighting Equipment being delayed elsewhere.
SECTION 1E: ADVERSE WEATHER.
Outdoor events can be covered against Cancellation, Abandonment and Postponement due to Adverse Weather conditions. From the cancellation of a Concert due to a Typhoon to Postponement of a Snow Ski race due to lack of snow, these contingencies can be covered under this section. Special Conditions apply for this section and cover and premium must be made at least 14 days prior to the commencement of the event.
SECTION 2 : PROPERTY ALL RISKS COVER.
This section covers the Organiser / Promoter against loss or damage to any sound,lighting electronic equipment and or any other miscellaneous equipment that he owns, has hired or borrowed for the event. The policy covers loss or damage due to Fire, Accidental Damage, Theft, Transit cover, Malicious Damage, etc.
SECTION 3: PUBLIC LIABILITY.
This section covers the Organiser/Promoter's legal liability to the general public with regards to claims made against them for Personal Injury and or Property damage which occurred due to the alleged negligence of the insured and or his employees and sub contractors. The policy is automatically extended to include any additional liability assumed by the insured due to contractual arrangements, such as with the Venue owner to indemnify them - HOLD HARMLESS agreements.
SECTION 4 . MONEY COVER.
The Money section of the programme covers the Organiser / Promoter against loss of moneys on Transit, at the venue, in the Personal Custody of the Insured or one of his appointed staff and from a locked Safe.
SECTION 5 : BROADCAST AND SATELLITE TRANSMISSION FAILURE AND BREAKDOWN COVER.
In the event that the satellite, microwave or cable transmission is interrupted due to any cause, additional costs incurred by the Organiser / Promoter in order to rectify the breakdown or the Loss of Profit caused by the breakdown of the transmission can be covered under this section.
